Meet Jeff Morris, singer/songwriter from Charlottetown, P.E.I. Jeff burst on the music scene back in 2002 with his album debut entitled, After Glow. Since its release, Jeff has been in the music spotlight. During the past 2 years, Jeff had showcases at NEOM in Boston, at ECMA 2003, PEI Music Awards, Contact East in St. John’s, Music Festivals and countless club appearances. He has received music award nominations and draws a lot of attention to his music.
He first gained national exposure as the award songwriter/frontman for Halifax, Counting Zero, sharing the stage with artists such as Bryan Adams, Steve Earle and Tom Cochrane.
He moved to Vancouver in 2001 and continued to record and tour, and while there he recorded his debut album entitled, Afterglow. The CD was well accepted and contained 11 songs. Ater the CD release, he moved back to his roots, in power pop, creating a potent blend of striking melodic and lyrical hooks, big guitars and fluid vocals. His radio friendly sound and performance energy leaves a telling impression, receiving rave reviews from industry, media and music listener audiences.
